Buzzsprout
You need a place to host your podcast and if you are not a techie, then Buzzsprout is for you. It’s so easy to set up and use and I truly love it. Use my link and you will get a $20 credit when you upgrade to any paid plan, but you can start for free.
Riverside.fm
All of my interviews and recordings are done using Riverside. Riverside increases the quality of my recordings (no matter my interviewees internet speed), creates transcripts, leverages AI to draft show notes and even pulls out clips that can be resized for stories, Instagram, YouTube, etc. easily.
Descript
If you are worried about editing video and want a bit more editing power than Riverside, then jump into Descript and edit with the power of AI. You can edit and add sound, video, images and of course remove silences and all those filler words with just the click of a button.
Audacity
If you are going audio only, Audacity is the best place to edit. It’s free and gives you a ton of flexibility to edit your audio. You can fade in and out, amplify and remove some of the background noise. I LOVE it. I use it for my intro and outro mixing.
ChatGPT
These is one of my most favorite AI tools to create show notes, captions, show ideas, show outlines and more. I love Generative AI because it saves me hours on each podcast episode. You never have to start with a blank slate.
Claude.ai
Claude.ai helps me to create show notes, captions, show ideas, show outlines and more. It offers less features than ChatGPT but is often more on point.
Perplexity.ai
This is a fantastic tool for research. It can research your guests, review other podcast episodes, provide insights and information about the topics you want to promote and even research podcasts for you to guest on. I love Perplexity and what it can find for you.
TubeBuddy
TubeBuddy is an essential tool for managing your YouTube channel effortlessly. It provides in-depth analytics, helps optimize your videos for search, and offers robust tools for keyword research. You can easily add time stamps, playlists and compare thumbnails.It's an all-in-one solution that saves you time and enhances your channel's growth.

Podmatch
This was a lifesaver in my podcasting journey. I was running out of people to interview and those reaching out didn’t always show up. It was frustrating. The solution was Podmatch. I can find quality guests speaking on topics I want to share. I can also find opportunities to guest and if you are just starting out, guesting is a great way to get comfortable with podcasting.

ConvertKit
Looking to get started in email marketing? ConvertKit is free for the first 1000 subscribers, but you do have to upgrade for autoresponders and some other services. Great customer service.
Constant Contact
Email marketing with flexibility for more. Depending on your needs, Constant Contact might be the right solution. With industry leading deliverability, Constant Contact offers a lot of options to help you grow your business with email marketing.
Canva
It’s unbelievable how easy it is to design social media posts, reels, stories, videos, flyers and more! I recommend upgrading to the paid version for the expanded access to images, audio and video clips.
ChatGPT
This is my overall workhorse when it comes to leveraging AI in my business. The paid version is better than the free version, but it’s a great tool that saves you hours on your content creation, idea generation and more.
Claude.ai
I love Claude especially because the free version is the same as the paid version, you just get fewer searches. Now, Claude is a little less sophisticated than ChatGPT but in some instances can give you much better results.
Metricool
One of the best things you can do is bulk create content. I create content weeks at a time and schedule it using Metricool. You can create posts, reels, stories and more. You can also add the first comment when algorithms don’t want links in the post. It’s free for one brand but if you want to manage multiple brands or add LinkedIn then it charges, but it is a fraction of the price and more flexible than others.
YNAB or You Need a Budget
Money can come in and then cash flows can dry up in the world of entrepreneurship. I use YNAB to create my business budget and am able to have a much clearer picture of my finances when I am accruing for my annual Metricool subscription and Microsoft Subscriptions.

Great tool that lets you go live on social media and if you upgrade you can use it for webinars too. It’s a fraction of the price of some of the other webinar tools out there.
Harvest
Are you working and not sure where your time is going or where your team’s time is going? Harvest is a great time tracking system so you can better estimate how much time a task will take you in the future and allows you to quote better pricing. Be sure to try it for free before you buy.
Sanebox
Have you ever heard about Inbox Zero? I thought it was a joke, but it isn’t. It’s about triaging your email and getting items to show back up in your inbox later. I love the Blackhole, next day, weekend and 3 hour snoozes on emails.
Optimize Press
If you have a WordPress website, Optimize Press is the best and easiest way to add landing pages, sales pages and funnels to your website. I love the ease of use and the low price tag versus many other landing page builders.

I have hosted my website in several different places and while I recommend managed hosting for many who don’t want to deal with the headaches of maintenance, Siteground is affordable and user friendly with its hosting packages.
